#673 Quick guard that got downhill off the wings getting paint touches which kept standing out to me.  Point guard that makes things happen with those touches.  Good decisions when getting to the paint making the correct reads.  Finish, pull up, or kick out to the wing for a shot.  Those instincts showed me that Ellie is coachable and understands the game. Nice form on the outside shot with good footwork resulting in made 3’s.  Another thing that stood out in my notes is an All Out Hustler on the court.  2030 to watch as Blanchard has a very athletic freshman class and could be making noise in the upcoming years

Social Media Highlights

Freeman looks to be a bucket getter. Shoots it clean and quickly from three. While also capable of either stopping in the mid-range with good form on her pull ups. Or snaking her way all the way to the basket, where her highlights show her finishing with both hands. Very good signs of being a well rounded scorer.

Freeman was another athletic guard who understood how to use her athleticism on both ends. She applies “on the ball” pressure off the top, and she also reads the switch ahead of time. Her first step is nice, that helped her get to the basket and score, well, body control played a part in that, and she showed the jumper
