Even though Carolina Playmakers 15U had a rough go of things against Florida-based Lola Bunnie’s Basketball Club 15U, Smith proved to be a bright spot for her team. When she has the ball in her hands, one not only has to game plan for how superb a ball handler she is but the speed and quickness she possesses with the ball. Smith will handle the ball with either her right or her left hand and brings plenty of consistency and reliability to a team. Defensively, she understands the importance of keeping one’s arms and hands outstretched. Smith represents a 7A Heritage team that finished with a 24-4 record last season.
