It took me a minute to figure out that it was EK without a Redline jersey on, but when she started bringing the ball up the court and knocked down a three from the perimeter, I knew it was her. There are not many players her size in North Georgia with the ability to play on the perimeter effectively. I saw Reese Reese GA do that for Lumpkin County at GAC last year as she had a very good performance in a big game. Reese Reese GA is listed as a PF but played like a guard during the open run and looked very good doing it. She will partner with Reagan Richardson Reagan Richardson 6'1" | PF/C Lumpkin County | 2027 State GA to form one of the better frontcourts in the state. She is emerging at the right time and could easily see her ranking go up with the next update this Fall. College coaches should definitely know who EK is.

Reese Reese GA has the size and strength you want in a post player, particularly at the power forward or four position. Another quality you need from players there is a little bit of dog in them as they are required to battle inside defensively and challenge for rebounds on both ends of the court. Reese Reese GA definitely has that. What coaches are looking for now is a player who can stretch the defense with their athleticism at the position, forcing bigger, often slower, defenders to try to go out on the perimeter and guard them. Emerson took advantage of that several times blowing by opposing defenders on the wing and at the top of the key before getting to the basket and finishing or drawing a foul. She could be the next one in the long line of very good prospects to come out of Lumpkin County. Her versatility should make her a very recruitable player for college coaches.

Reese Reese GA has eye-catching size and strength for her age. She’s a physical presence in the paint, but what stands out is her mobility — she runs the floor well and slides defensively. Reese Reese GA rebounds at a high rate and finishes with both hands. Her perimeter skills are developing quickly; she’s able to handle the ball in the open floor and push transition opportunities. Her ceiling is high.

Camp was a good opportunity for EK to expand her game with two key players missing. Reese Reese GA got to spend a lot of time on the perimeter, helping advance the ball up the floor. Reese Reese GA showed the ability to snatch rebounds and go coast-to-coast. With her strong frame, EK scores through contact well. When playing outside, Emerson netted a three against Cambridge en route to 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.
