Fischbeck was the engine for a Mountain View team that took a step forward this season. Nearly averaging a double-double, she did a little bit of everything — scoring, rebounding, defending, making plays. Emma has put together a strong senior year and has been the tone-setter for the Toros. She competes. She leads. If Mountain View is going to make noise, Fischbeck has to be the one dictating terms — offensively and emotionally. Playoff runs require your seniors to elevate. She’s capable of that.

Emma is among the most improved players in the state, and she backed it up with a monster double-double. She got into a rhythm offensively, hitting shots from various spots on the floor. She was also very active on the boards, getting her team extra shot attempts by crashing the offensive glass. Fischbeck finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds in the win over Chandler.
