Emma has really played well all Spring & Summer, so it would have been easy to talk about her after most games. But Sunday she played with a different urgency, to me. She had a different gear, dove everywhere for loose balls and was incredibly active defensively, plus she was extremely assertive at the offensive end of the floor. The growth she’s shown over the past two years, especially gaining strength, understanding how to change speeds, and playing with more physicality, has really helped her “level up”.

Emma has always been a nice prospect, and she’s had several colleges on her over the past couple of years, but this Spring & Summer she has really seen the intensity of her recruiting take off. She is a long lefty, she has an athletic frame with wiry strength, plus she is fast and has a little bounce to her game. She loves to get downhill and score it at the basket, but her perimeter stroke is starting to become more consistent. I also like her motor defensively and on the boards.
