Emmie Walker has an offensive game worth paying attention to! She has shown she can score inside and out, with a quick release that gives defenders less time to recover. That combination is something I like in a young guard—make them respect the jumper and give yourself more options to work with.

For our Millsaps “New Names, Big-Time Potential” spotlight, Emmie brings scoring ability she can keep building around. What interests me next is how she uses that threat to create advantages and recognize opportunities for her teammates.

As her reads and consistency develop, she can become tougher to defend. Keep getting those reps, stay ready for your looks, and trust your preparation, Emmie. There’s plenty of potential here to keep coaches watching!

Walker is a playmaker and game changer. Showed her ability to score inside and out. A quick release allowed her to get her shot off and also blow by her defenders. Crashes the boards hard which allow for extra possessions.
