There is a knock on Metro Nashville basketball, but this young lady has turned the tide for the Lady Bobcats of Overton. She gave her club a fighting chance every time she took the floor. Bringing that dawg mentality to the game, as soon as the ball tipped off, she was all gas, no brake. A kid who could play solid on both ends of the floor, she was always in the mix and helping her club thrive. She will be a solid addition at the next level.

Shifty guard who will be looking to lead the Lady Bobcats in multiple ways this season. A kid who can change pace with ease, with the ball in her hands, no telling what’s gonna happen. From throwing dot passes to open teammates to putting kids on skates as she breaks ankles, Erica is a super tough kid who is going to give you all she has on every possession. Keep tabs on this young lady as she is a sleeper in the Metro-Nashville area.

Crafty ballhandler who can have an opponent play on their heels. She is a tough kid to corral as she plays with a lot of speed. She can stop and pop from many spots on the floor, knock down 3s, and also finish at the rim. She is a tough defender with quick hands that poke balls loose, creating transitional opportunities. She is one of the better Metro-Nashville kids around and will look to help lead the Lady Bobcats to a district title.

A kid who can change speeds like no other. Shifty ball handling who can create off the dribble, stop and pop in transition, knock down the 3 ball consistently, and will compete her tail off no matter who she is facing. She is the underdog, and she embraces that role. A fighter who is going to give it her all every time she steps onto the floor. She’s a gym rat who is going to help propel her ball club. She brings the energy and effort, and her teammates feed off that. Look for her to have an incredible senior season and grab the attention of collegiate coaches along the way.

The time has come for her to have a breakthrough moment. This kid has the handles, can score from all levels, but her ability to get downhill off the bounce is so good. She isn’t afraid to mix it up on the defensive end either. Look for her to come out of the gates and show coaches she hangs with the best of them at the next level. Hardworking kid who is humble and hungry.

This kid is special, and she is about to show everyone what she is worth. A 3-level scoring threat that can change speeds, hit runners, get to the rim, has handles, and she’s just a problem. She’s a goon, and this kid is playing with such confidence now, she is going to be a tough out for opponents. She’s going to go at you on the offensive end for sure, but you better believe her defense will also come with it. She has speed, quick hands, and will look to push the envelope to get an easy bucket going the other way. A solid kid who is going to jump on collegiate radars sooner rather than later.

She’s about to put a lot of people on notice. A shifty PG who has handles and can shoot from multiple spots at a high clip. She sees the floor well and can exploit defenses using her speed and quickness. I love her ability to battle as she isn’t afraid to go up against anyone. This kid is on the upswing, and I can already tell this is going to be a solid season for her.

A shifty guard who is in conversation as one of the top guards in the city. Erica’s game has evolved to where she is hard to contain. She has that “wiggle” to where she can get down hill to attack gaps, put opponents on skates, or pull from the arc. This kid is a workhorse and you can tell she is consistently working on her craft. I will say, her handles and her foot speed have gotten better because she is consistently beating her girl off the dribble. Look for her to continue on this upwards trajectory as her confidence grows and grows.

I usually don’t throw compliments around like this, but she may be one of the best guards or let’s just say under the radar guards in the city of Nashville. A 3 level scoring threat who can create off the dribble, pull up from the arc, and has tons of shiftiness in her game. Stop and explode out. Counter move here if you try to stop her. Hesi, fake, step through, splash. Ball through the net. This kid is tough and John Overton hasn’t had a solid guard like this since the late 90s when they had a trio of Lady Bobcats that could hoop. Erica is an absolute dawg and looks for her to have a breakout year.
