High Motor Guard. Gabby jumped on my radar during the Fall League Season. During the league, she mostly played in the paint with a high motor, hustling and getting rebounds. Her high school team lost a lot of experience due to graduation. Only a sophomore, she has taken on a leadership role for this squad. That’s what I noticed about her when I watched Trezevant play in a Play Day back in November. With her high school team, she is a vocal leader and the primary ball handler. She has a strong frame and some size. She can aggressively attack the basket, knock down the mid range jumper and has 3 range.

High Energy Guard/Forward. Gabby scored 34 points vs Crosstown on January 6. I first saw Gabby play back in the fall during the league season. She played with a high motor and a lot of energy. I talked about her hustling and and rebounding abilities. During a play day in early November, I was able to catch part of one of her games with her high school team. During that game, what stood out was her leadership skills. She was very vocal at directing and helping her teammates.

High motor and energy is an understatement to describe Gabby. She hustled back on defense and prevented a wide open layup opportunity with a block. She led the league this week with 12 rebounds. There was a possession where she was sandwiched between 2 players. Not only did she get the rebound, she scored and was fouled.
