Gabi from Mona Shores turned heads at the Ferris Team Camp with a performance well beyond her years. The incoming freshman played with poise and physicality, attacking the offensive glass and finishing second-chance opportunities with putbacks. She also showed she can stretch the floor, confidently hitting shots from long range. Gabi’s early impact hints at a bright future ahead.

Gabi used her length to make a difference for Hardwood Midwest 14U at our PGH Michigan State Tournament on Sunday. She grabbed rebounds and threw strong passes to open teammates. Gabi’s presence on the offensive glass resulted in several put-backs. She drove with a determined downhill burst to cause fouls and caused a travel with her excellent helpside defensive positioning. Gabi helped Hardwood Midwest 14U finish 3-1 and as runner-up at the tournament. She will be a prospect to watch at Mona Shores in the coming years.
