As a junior, Romero averaged a commanding 18.3 points, while totaling 39 three-pointers in 26 games for the Hilltoppers. It is noteworthy to mention, GG shot 44 percent from distance, which led the State!
Furthermore, the CG is a rhythm shooter that takes what the defense gives her. GG is comfortable operating from the high-post area due to her ability to hit the midrange jumper with ease.

Romero is a Two-Time All-State Selection (First Team: 2023 & 2024) thanks to her ability to be an inside-out playmaker who can score at multiple levels.
As a junior (2023-24) GG averaged an impressive 18.3 points per game, shooting 42 percent from the floor. The 2025 CG also finished with 39 3PM, connecting at a 44 percent clip! More than just a sniper from beyond the arc, GG is a capable rebounder and defender who tallied 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game for the Hilltoppers this past season.

The lead guard did a little bit of everything for her squad. She was a driving force in keeping the ball moving and her teammates involved. While also having a scoring punch, especially when pulling up off the dribble. She consistently hit in the mid-range and even knocked down her fair share of threes in two viewings of her this weekend. With signs of improving dribble moves and passing, Romero looks to be in the middle of a big and pivotal spring.

Romero is a fundamentally sound guard with a good feel to her game. GG runs the floor well, is a willing passer and is comfortable moving without the ball. Romero’s ability to get open and get her feet set, was incredible. Whether in transition or coming off a DHO, GG was able to rise up and bury a 3ball. Romero averaged a camp-high 18 points per game and had 13 3PM (T-1st).
