About Gianna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with an aggressive mindset when the ball is in my hands. I like to get downhill, force help, and create opportunities for my teammates. My game is still developing , it’s far from a finished product , but I’m committed to improving every day. I’m a work in progress, and I embrace that.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the court, I love spending time with my family and friends. I’m easygoing, fun‑loving, and I enjoy being around people. On the court, I’m all about competing. I’m not afraid to make mistakes, and I take pride in being coachable and willing to learn.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received multiple star/ academic awards from school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I attended an Adidas camp in California this past summer (September 2025). I put in a lot of work leading up to the camp, especially knowing that many of the top girls in the country would be there. I competed hard, but I didn’t have the success I expected. My team didn’t win, and I didn’t earn any individual awards. I didn’t play my best, and realizing the holes in my game was humbling.

What type of college are you looking for?

I still have about five years before I need to make that decision. What I do know is that I want to be somewhere with a true family atmosphere a place that genuinely wants me and believes in me. I’ll probably have a clearer answer as I get a little older and continue to grow.
