Grace defended by using her length and strength to deflect passes and deny low post-entry passes. McKinney has had a tremendous run of basketball going into her senior season. She’s just done so many things on a very high level. McKinney has played the game at a high speed and has shown that she can make plays with the ball and score when on the move. She has great offensive and defensive anticipation and always seems to read her teammates and her opponents with accuracy.

McKinney has had a busy June playing basketball and picking up offers. Her most recent offer came from Davenport University. She is a tough defender in the paint and can also defend on the perimeter. She demonstrated her versatility by hitting some shots from behind the arc and scoring at the rim.

She just gets it at that end both with her anticipation and her freedom of movement. McKinney has a diverse offensive game with a nose for the ball and the ability to make a play when her team needs one.

McKinney sort of low key had a tremendous grassroots season with MBA-UAA . She could really see her stock soar with the type of season that I think she could be lined up to have. McKinney has a very high defensive IQ. She never gets caught out of position on that end and certainly showed the ability to move laterally, even against high level competition. McKinney could turn out to be an elite defender this high school season.
