I can’t help thinking how smart of a player that Grace is each time I watch her play. The 5’8 guard continues to get better each year, a true sign of a good player. She hardly makes mistakes and almost always makes the right decisions on offense and defense. She has gotten a lot better at attacking the basket and will need to continue that effort on the offensive end next season. She has good strength for a high school guard and plays great defense. She has all of the tools to play at the next level.

Grace is the type of player that every coach wants on their team. She is a player who isn’t going to make a lot of mistakes on the floor. Coaches want players they can trust and players where they know what to expect. Grace fits the bill. She has a high basketball IQ and makes the right play nearly every possession on the court. She is a sneaky cutter in Bismarck’s offense and keeps the floor spaced. She is an adequate ball-handler and a good secondary point guard. She has a nice looking shot and is super efficient behind the arc.

Grace is a super smart player. She does a lot of the ‘little things’ really well. She has great hands and can catch in traffic and can also set solid screens for her teammates. She cuts when she is supposed to cut and has a great feel for the game. Her IQ is off the charts and she is also an effective shooter. She has a nice looking shot and I would encourage her to shoot more.

Grace is another solid player off of the bench for Bismarck and will find herself having a great high school career when all is said and done. She hits the outside shot and does an exceptional job of reading when to jump the passing lanes in Bismarck’s full-court press. She came into the game in their upset victory over Bismarck Legacy and immediately had an impact. She took two steals in for layups and knocked down multiple shots. Her defense led to easy scoring opportunities for her team. Grace is a great player and one Coach Shetler loves to have on his team.

16 points, 7/8 from the field, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Grace is going to be vital for the demons going forward. She displays great poise on the court for a kid who is only 5 games into her varsity career. She is very efficient offensively and never looked to force anything last night. Neumann did a good job of letting the game come to her. She is always in the right position defensively. Anytime BHS needed a big play it was Neumann making it. Whether it was a steal, rebound, extra pass, or a basket, she was making a winning play for the Demons. As the season gets deeper, Grace is only going to get better with more minutes.
