Expert Analysis
Devin Record | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Grace is a fantastic player and has been playing at an elite level all season long. She does a great job at putting her team on her back and stepping up when the team needs. She would finish her senior year with a big time 30 point, 4 rebound, and 4 steal performance. She is going to excel at the next level as she is headed to UMary.

Grace has been playing at a very high level for Peninsula, leading her team early in the season. She does it all for her team, averaging a little more than 15 points a game with 9 rebounds and 5 assists to go along the way. She plays with a fantastic pace, making the other teams match what she wants to do. She is a Division 1 player and a school out there will land a player who goes 110% at all times and is a teammate first player, something coaches always look for.

Grace is a fantastic defender, being able to guard any player 1 on 1. Richardson is quick off the dribble, getting downhill smoothly and hitting some jumpers when left open too. She recently dropped 22 points while having a school record 13 free throws made and also dishing out 5 assists.

Grace is dynamic at the guard position. She did much of the primary ball handling and most of it was creating off the dribble. She is shifty and extremely strong getting to the bucket. She will find option two if option one doesn’t work or has open teammates. She was really impressive, one of the better downhill players I saw. She plays with a lot of toughness.

Richardson’s a playmaker who really got it done across multiple fronts. She played with active hands on defense, was quick to loose balls, hustled to help out on the glass, and played some hard-nosed basketball. She’s got a pretty shifty handle and was able to create some space and make nice feeds in by the hoop.

Grace gets the job done on both sides of the ball on the court. She is able to guard multiple positions, being a valuable asset to her team. Offensively, she has such a great first step. She blows by defenders with ease by utilizing her speed and her length. She has all the attributes of a Division 1 player and coaches should be all over her. She really has a love for the game of basketball, you can tell by watching her play. Her junior year is going to be a big one next year, know the name now.

What stands out to me is that she plays under control and understands how to change speeds and use her dribble to make plays. She sees the floor well (4 APG) and is athletic (6 RPG). She has a nice-looking compact shot that should show up more often than her six threes made show through 14 games. She is getting 11 points a game on the season and much of that can be attributed to her athleticism. She can also use the mid-range jumper effectively. She has recorded a couple of double-doubles and been close several more times. She is a well-rounded guard with good size and ball skills. A prospect to watch with a high ceiling.
