Hanna is a returning starter for the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers. She anchored them defensively and is a true rim protector. Hanna recorded 37 blocks last season, good for just under two a game. Her ability to defend the basket without fouling is a luxury to her coach. She is a fantastic athlete who has a really impressive burst of speed for a post. She powers across the lane on her cuts when her team runs a cross-screen to get her loose by the basket. Hanna is another post who can step out and knock down the three. Last season she averaged 9.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

Hanna is a quality prospect and a starter for the Lakers.  She is listed at 5’11, but plays and looks bigger than that on film.  She isn’t afraid to battle with bigger, older girls down low and is a physical presence for her team.  She has good instincts when playing transition defense and can also knock down the 3.  She could be a great high school player with continued improvement.
