Watson took her talent to Las Vegas this AAU season, playing with the Las Vegas Elite/Team Hamby 16U for the majority of the summer. It is nice to see Hannah playing back in the state for June with the Wreaking Havoc. Watson scored MVP recognition this past weekend at the GTE Mountain West Summer Preview event, and it is easy to see why. She is a multi-level scorer. She has the ability to score in the paint with her back to the basket or short 10ft jumpers. Hannah can also play from the wing, getting points from strong drives to the basket or jumpers. She brings a great energy to the defensive end. She can get in a stance and defend smaller guards the full length of the court, meet post players at the block to battle for position and everything in between. Make sure that you get to the court to see Watson and Wreaking Havoc play before she goes back to Vegas.

Hannah might be one of the most unique players in this group. She doesn’t have a defined position — and that might be her greatest strength. She brings non-stop energy the moment she checks in, crashing the glass, defending multiple spots, and playing with heart on both ends. Offensively, she’s unselfish taking what the defense gives her. Whether it’s making hustle plays, rotating defensively, or finding open teammates, she just makes winning plays. Coaches love that kind of versatility and effort, and Hannah delivers both in full.
