Quick, explosive and and aggressive off the dribble, she consistently slashed through the lane and got to her spots with ease, putting constant pressure on the defense. Smooth and confident pull-up jumper; comfortable rising up off the dribble from mid-range. Lethal from 3; whether spotting up, pulling up off movement, or shooting off the bounce, she stretched the defense and forced opponents to guard well beyond the perimeter.

Harper is playing for NJ Rise 17U S40 this AAU season and will compete at her first Select 40 session next week. She had a strong opening tournament in Philadelphia, showing comfort handling the ball in transition. She creates space well off the dribble, and her quick first step allows her to blow by defenders with one move when she attacks.

Just 10 months removed from ACL rehab, Harper is steadily returning to form and looking more comfortable each game. In her first game back last month she finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, showing she can still impact the game across the board. She is a great three point shooter who needs very little space to get her shot off, whether it is catch and shoot or creating separation off the dribble. She also has a tight handle that allows her to weave around defenders and get into the paint where she embraces contact and finishes strong. As the playoffs approach, her shot making and confidence will be key for her team’s offense.
