There is a lot to like about Harper’s game when she is out there for Rise as One, but I most like watching her defend. She is disruptive, stays in front of the ball and gets a ton of steals. She has averaged 3+spg in 3 years at Morris Tech HS and she is doing similar work on the AAU circuit. She sets the tone defensively with her effort and is always on the floor for loose balls. Offensively, she is a smooth shooter. She’s patient with the ball and uses misdirection to shift defenders allowing her to create space for her step back jumper. Harper can get to rim off the bounce or by sprinting up the court in transition. Over 1,000 points in 3 years, Harper will make a run at 1,500 career points in her senior season.
