Herbie is one of my favorite players to watch on the court. Her continuous growth on the court really stands out as she gets better and better. Wright knows how to play from anywhere on the court and thrives when working from the midrange. She finishes through contact nicely, adjusting to get the bucket. Her defense is elite as she moves her feet quickly and has a high level reaction time on the court. Wright is poised for another big year next season as she continues to thrive for Prosser.

Wright carried a significant offensive load for the Mustangs, finishing with 14 points while contributing six rebounds and three assists. She attacked the defense throughout the game and found scoring opportunities both in transition and in the half court. As Prosser attempted to cut into Lynden’s early lead, Wright’s scoring helped keep the Mustangs within reach. Her defensive activity also produced steals and disrupted passing lanes. Even in defeat, Wright’s effort and production were central to Prosser’s ability to compete in the championship matchup.

Wright led the Mustangs with 21 points while shooting efficiently and converting all eight of her free throws. She also added 13 rebounds and four assists, producing one of the most complete stat lines of the round.

Her ability to score, rebound, and facilitate helped Prosser control the semifinal matchup.

Wright delivered one of the top offensive performances of the round with 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting. She consistently attacked the paint and created scoring opportunities throughout the game.

Her efficiency helped Prosser establish offensive rhythm early and maintain control of the game.

Standing out as a lengthy guard, she consistently scores at a high rate, showcasing her offensive prowess and ability to dominate the game. Her relentless work ethic and commitment to giving 100% effort make her a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the court. Not only does she excel in scoring, but her exceptional rebounding skills add an extra dimension to her game, allowing her to control the boards effectively. As a true difference maker, her presence elevates her team’s performance, setting her apart from the rest of the talent on the court.

Herbie continues to showcase her elite talent on the court as the years go on. She has proved time and time again that she is a top 10 player in her class and arguably a top player in the state. She plays effectively, not using extra dribble and keeping the game simple. She recently dominated with 31 points in a big win over Othello.

Wright emerged as one of the CWAC’s most polished scorers. A First Team All-League selection, she is a high-level shooter who keeps defenses off balance with her ability to get downhill, pull up in the midrange, or float shots over bigs. Her offensive awareness is elite—always knowing when to attack the rim versus when to settle for her jumper. Defensively, she uses her length to disrupt passing lanes and contest shots, adding to her all-around impact.

Lights out shooter who lit it up scoring the rock this season and led Prosser to a 23-7 record. Broke Prosser’s single season scoring record with 472 points by finishing strong at the hoop and being a knockdown shooter with extended range. In their state playoff loss to Deer Park, the Stags did a good job keeping her limited scoring by denying her the ball and cutting down driving lanes, but Wright showed some other aspects to her game that made a difference like hustling for offensive boards, setting solid screens off the ball to free up teammates, and sealing her defender after cuts to free up driving lanes for teammates. She’s a dynamic scorer and has great IQ to affect the game in a lot of ways.

Herbie has really been standing out all season for Prosser. She has grown into the top scoring option for the team and has done an outstanding job at handling the workload. She broke the single season scoring record for the program, which was held since the 1991-1992 season. She scored 22 points to break the record and bring her season total to 472 regular season points.
