Talk about a guard that can go. She is very athletic and has a knack for the ball. She sees the gaps, steps around the defenders to get inside and get a shot off or gets to the free throw line. Her seemingly automatic ability to attack the paint creates movement and an offensive force for her team.

Edwards came off a great high school season helping lead them to state only to land on her feet with the RIGHT club team, remember folks, it’s all about the fit, not the “rhymes with fit”. She understands how to not only create her shot but also create separation to drop it and although she’s a #sizedontmatter guard, she’s fearless and it shows with her attacking and finishing after contact as well as “on the ball” defense

Edwards is a GAMER which means she is always ready for whatever and she showed that at an early age. Her confidence and ability to perform under pressure has always been there yet watching her put her high school team on her back in the playoffs to make a deep run was special. She also mixed it up during the coed session as she went hard, on both ends and showed she could not only get to the rim against the guys to finish, her seeing the floor and directing traffic was another plus. She also showed the midrange was dropping like the rain outside the gym plus she was vocal

Edwards was “CLUTCH” during the playoffs scoring however she wanted and that has transitioned over to the CLUB season where I caught her recently. Her court vision stood out boith in the set as well as in transition but seeing her create her shot as well as create spacing to to drop the mid to long range jumper was very nice, so was her attacking and finishing after contact

Edwards was her usual exciting self as she handled the ball and saw the floor under pressure. She also created her shot while being defended and got separation to get her shot off. Her mid to long-range continues to create problems but she also scored or dished off the dribble and let me also add her “on the ball” defense was tough
