About Hope

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I LOVE to compete and always do my best to be the best I can be! I'm aggressive, energetic and skilled and am working hard to be able to play all 5 positions if needed. My most recent goal is to be able to dunk a basketball and I'm working hard every day to do that! I recently made 9 3-pointers in a row on YouTube, my goal is making 25 in a row. I won the WA State free throw contest in 2025.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love to play aggressive defense and fight for every rebound, loose ball, and 50-50 ball. I am a team player, coachable and love working every day to get better and help make my teammates better! Ia always do my best to be the hardest worker on any team I play on, and also be the most positive and enthusiastic player on the floor and in the locker room!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I do a lot of community service with my school including volunteering at The Salvation Army feeding people who are food insecure.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Community service: I love volunteering at The Salvation Army. I like developing my leadership skills and working together with my teammates on our Speech Team. Teamwork is SO important to any team I'm on and I love contributing to a positive and inspiring environment for all of my teammates and coaches.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Our family has moved a lot (born in New York City then moving to New Jersey, California, Kansas City, and Seattle) which has been challenging but has also been an incredible opportunity to work with lots of amazing coaches, make new friends and teammates and develop resourcefulness, grit and have gratitude for each new day to become a better person and athlete.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a great college athletically and academically that helps me grow as a player and person, and somewhere that I will have great teammates and coaches who are super positive and looking to compete and win Championships!
