Finau could easily step into the right program and defend better than anyone on the team and rebound like crazy. Offensively she is a not a high maintenance player as she just cleans up the glass and occasionally takes it to the rim. Shooting has improved and her upside is very high.

Finau had herself a stellar year and defensively she was one of the best in the state regardless of position. She was defending bigger player and she is a player that can switch 1-5. Finau is a player that can develop at the next level as a 3 that can defend a 4. Her recruiting has been picking up and she will be a good find and a steal. One of the most athletic players available.

Finau is an athlete you can put anywhere on the floor and she will be able to find ways to impact the game. She is a grab and go SF/W that has speed and she has leaping ability. She is going to be an NWAC steal or she could easily find a way to get on to a D2 roster. She likes to slash to the rim using spins and just elevating over other players. Finau has a high ceiling as well as she could still work on a few things in her game that could take shape at the next level.

Finau had the highest motor in the girls high school bracket and it wasn’t even close. She is an athlete that can get up and haul in rebounds like crazy. She had a 17 rebound performance in a game and was in double figures in rebounds in 5 games played. She was rebounding the ball and pushing the tempo all while keeping her head up and finding open players up the floor. She was defending all 5 positions and had a block running out to the three-point line and she sent the ball flying. This girl was playing with her hair on fire. She helped her team go 5-0.

Finau was showing that shifty style she has and she has speed, so when she gets downhill she is tought o stop and she has a go to spin move she can really create space with. Good touch around the rim as well. She has steadily improved weekend after weekend.
