Williams is a strong, physical big guard who plays with confidence. She’s comfortable launching deep threes and has the green light range to stretch defenses well beyond the arc. When defenders overplay her jumper, she attacks downhill and draws fouls, using her frame to absorb contact.
A 2,000-point scorer, Williams understands how to produce. If the outside shot isn’t falling, she adjusts and looks to penetrate gaps, getting into the paint where she can finish or collapse the defense. The reigning AAA player of the year in GIAA wasted little time making this a memorable senior season by scoring her 2,000th point in November. India is an accomplished scorer and does a lot of good work behind the three point line where she is very effective. Not just a catch and shoot player, Williams shoots the ball just as well pulling up in transition and creates space on the wing with her dribble to get her shot off. Williams sees the floor well and is a very good passer. Williams is dangerous getting to the basket in transition and finishing as well as knocking down shots from 10-12 feet. Williams is currently averaging 26.4 points per game per MaxPreps.
