Isabelle is heading to Jamestown to play college basketball. I really like the program that Coach Sankey has built at Jamestown and his eye for recruiting regional talent. Friedt is a nice prospect due to her athletic build, strength, and length. She has very long arms that make her tough defensively. She is one of the better players in the area at blocking shots and timing her jumps. Her footwork is nice around the basket and she can also make the hi-lo pass, something that requires a lot of skill.

The star forward for Oakes made some noise this summer and earned herself a spot on the Jamestown College Jimmies next season in 2026-2027. I trust Thad Sankey’s talent evaluation and trust he got a good one in Friedt. She is a 6′ forward with a lot of game. She has great footwork and knows small intricacies of the game that are sometimes hard to teach posts. She can flip ball screens naturally and does a great job of catching passes in traffic.

Isabelle is an excellent forward for the Oakes Tornadoes. She is a great size at 5’11 and has really long arms. She is able to contest around the rim and does a great job of defending without fouling. She gaps on the catch and moves her feet well. She has the frame to seal and duck-in effectively around the basket. Isabelle was a big reason to Oakes’ success the past season.
