Two years ago, Izzy left a lasting impression when I coached against her at the Lake Orion summer league. She is one of the best high and low post defenders in the 2026 class, with length and closeout mobility that gives Stoney Creek a clear advantage on defense. Izzy swatted back-to-back shots in the paint with authority and made several blocks throughout the game on Monday at The Compound. She blocked shots inside and on the perimeter, moving quickly from help position to swat layup attempts. One of her highlights was blocking a layup and immediately sprinting down the floor to score a layup in transition. She worked hard to secure many rebounds on both ends and scored a left-handed layup off two feet. Izzy passed well from the perimeter and zipped an overhead entry pass on a rope to a teammate for the assist. She is a fierce competitor with a physical tenacity on the court that few have.

Izzy earned OAA-Red All-Conference honors with Stoney Creek and will be a front-court prospect to watch on the travel circuit this spring. Her combination of length, mobility, strength, and aggressive instincts makes her an exceptional defensive specialist. Izzy shuts down entry passes into the post and disrupts shot attempts. She creates deflections and blocks shots at the rim and on the perimeter.

Izzy is a front-court prospect who makes her presence felt in the paint on both ends of the court. She denies entry passes and holds her position very effectively to make life difficult for post players, while protecting the rim as a fierce shot blocker. Izzy muscles her way to offensive rebounds and scores putbacks around the basket.

Ivezaj isn’t resting this month that’s for sure. She’s with her Stoney Creek team getting better and showcasing it at The Compound in the Girls Summer Tune Up. Ivezaj was named a Player of the Game in the first game of June. She had a hard-nosed 16 points and was very active on the glass.
