Jacie is one of the best rebounding players I have seen. She has an unbelievable ability to time her jumps so that she can grab the ball at it’s peak. Reardon was a steady piece on a Central team who struggled to find consistency this season. She has the frame to play multiple sports at the collegiate level. She works hard on the court and has a good attitude with her teammates. Jacie finished her senior season averaging 13.5 points and 13.1 rebounds per game on 50% shooting, all very impressive numbers.
The Grand Forks Central Knights have struggled to win games in recent memory, but have produced a handful of very high-quality players. Jacie falls into that category and will need to take over the role as top-dog on her team this coming season. She is a physical force and one of the best rebounders I have ever seen. She does a terrific job of pursuing long rebounds and rebounding with two hands. She continues to improve her offense and has become a solid finisher around the basket. She is a very good forward and I am excited to see how her senior year goes.
Jacie is going to be the big returning piece for a Grand Forks Central team that loses one of its all-time best players, her sister Lauren. Jacie’s game is a lot different than older sis, but there are quite a bit of similarities: effort level, athleticism, coachability, grit, and toughness. Jacie thrives near the rim and is one of the best rebounders I have seen. She times the ball at its peak and uses her great leaping ability to go grab it.
Jacie is one of the best rebounders I have ever watched. She is averaging over 13 rebounds per game with 3.6 coming off of offensive rebounds. She goes and grabs the ball with two hands and it is almost impossible for opponents to rip the ball away from her strong grasp. She is an effective finisher around the rim, shooting 48% from the field. Jacie is well on her way to earning a spot on the All-EDC team this season.
Lauren’s little sister, Jacie, is another key contributor for the Knights. Jacie is also a great athlete who plays extremely hard. She was one of the best rebounders in the EDC last season averaging 8.7 per contest. I expect her to improve those numbers this year and also take a step forward scoring the basketball.
