It only took a few minutes to realize the star talent of the Notre Dame signee. Talented wing with outstanding handles. Got wherever she wanted on drives, using a rare blend of strength and finesse. Efficiently scored at the rim for herself. Or made accurate passes to teammates when she drew a crowd. Put on absolute show, while always looking in control.

Abii broke out the box this season! I could not help but add her in this article, as she is certainly ranked the top player for the class of 2026 for a reason. The fact that Abii is a sophomore is a scary reality for the rest of Texas 5A. Her strength and skills truthfully make her look like a woman amongst girls. Her ability to get to the rack and finish, with or without ball screens, is just fun to watch. Her mid range pull up game and three point shot make her a hot item for any offense. I’m ready to see how she sizes up against national competition in the club season. All eyes will be on her in any gym.

Abii was a #D1Lock from day 1 when I caught her the first time, I guess in the 6th or 7th grade, yet with her abundance of offers on the table right now, I’m ready to drop something else I foresee, her playing in the W. She’s that good and watching her continuously add to her game and play all 5 positions quite well is part of my reasoning, yet another is she can change the direction of a game from either end. Mid to long-range, off the dribble, around the basket, she’s hard to handle yet with the “I ain’t done” mentality, I can’t wait to see the finished product

#1 Abii is probably one of if not the most improved players over the past two seasons and here dominance on the inside is part of her being #1. Another part is her versatility to play outside of the paint and her handling the ball after rebounding , she does that on both ends, and going coast to coast to score or dish creates problems for defenders. Her outside shooting has also improved yet her defense in the paint has also shot up
