Jada makes it extremely hard for post players to get good positioning on her. She constantly forces opposing players into bad angles and bad shot selections which result in easy blocked shots.

Jada is a versatile big who can dominate both ends of the floor, making a significant impact on the interior offensively and defensively. On defense, she uses her size, strength, and positioning to control the paint, blocking shots, altering attempts, and securing rebounds with ease. Offensively, Jada is equally effective, using her footwork and physicality to establish deep post position and finish strong around the basket. Whether she’s creating opportunities for herself or drawing defenders to set up teammates, her presence in the paint is undeniable. Jada’s well-rounded game makes her a key asset to her team, and a matchup nightmare for any opponent.

Jada was a defensive force throughout the tournament, consistently coming up with steals and blocks that set the tone for her team. Her presence on the court was undeniable—whenever her team needed a stop, Jada rose to the occasion, locking in and making a play. Whether she was picking pockets on the perimeter or swatting shots in the paint, her impact was felt on every possession. Her ability to step up in key defensive moments made her one of the most reliable and feared defenders in the tournament.

Jada might have the highest ceiling out of any player from the Peach Games. She’s a tall, long, athletic, and mobile post that should see her recruitment explode with her size/frame and vertical. Her ability to block so many shots or at least affect them was on full display this weekend in GA. I was really impressed with her passing from the post position with some high-low action and drop down passes within the frontcourt. Jada stepped out and could hit the 15 footer, and also did a good job of using fakes then a step through move to get to the bucket and finish.

Jada is an absolute nightmare for opponents on both ends of the court. Offensively, she can score at will—whether it’s attacking the rim, pulling up in the midrange, or powering through contact, she gets buckets in a variety of ways. Her combination of athleticism and strength makes her nearly impossible to contain. On the defensive end, she’s just as dominant—her quickness, length, and physical frame make it extremely tough for anyone to get by her or finish around her. Jada’s intensity, skill, and physical tools make her one of those rare players who can take over a game on both sides of the floor.

Gay has successfully translated what was a 7A runner-up season for Starkville into a stellar campaign on the grassroots circuit. This continued into the Roll Tide Rumble where The SisterHood Lady Lions 17U Benson E40 team concluded the weekend with a record of 3-1 (the lone blemish occurring against SGB 17U Barton). A couple of the victories Gay’s team notched over the weekend were tough wins over SC Eagles UA Rise 17U (69-61) and OMG Academy 17U (60-56). Gay finished with 18 points to lead her team to that third win. She showcased exactly why she landed her offer from Division I Charlotte last month. She also was offered by Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Southern Mississippi and Jackson State.
