Jade is a strong/powerful, aggressive player. She loves to use her physicality to establish herself early each possession, whether it be at the offensive or defensive end of the floor. Offensively, she has soft hands, good touch, and she does a nice job of utilizing contact to create space. Defensively, she has the ability to sit down and defend the perimeter, but she’s also deceptively long and does a nice job of blocking/affecting shots while rotating over from the “help” side. This grassroots season, I’ve been impressed with her offense.

Jade has made a really nice transformation from last Summer, to this Winter, to this Spring. She has always been strong, but now she looks overpowering, lighter on her feet, and she does a really nice job of not allowing taller, longer prospects to block her shot…her ability to create angle scores stands out. Additionally, she plays hard, battles for boards, and she does a solid job of coming out on the floor to sit down and defend ball screens/handoffs.

I was really impressed with Jade when I saw her during a holiday tournament this Winter, and I was happy to see her again so early this Spring in this environment. She is strong/powerful, very physical, and she plays with a nice motor. She possesses good hands, solid post moves around the paint, and a soft touch with her ability to finish over taller defenders. She has become a really nice small college prospect.
