Jadelynn is a Swiss army knife kind of player who does it all for Stoney Creek; her versatility and dynamic skills set is extremely valuable for the Cougars. She ran the floor in transition, knocked down multiple mid-range jumpers, sank a triple up top, and closed out hard to block a shot on the perimeter. Jadelynn dropped into the passing lane for a steal and buried a clutch corner jumper to give Stoney a 33-30 lead with 3:21 remaining. She poured in 13 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Cougars.

Jadelynn didn’t play travel ball this past spring, so she might be flying under college coaching radars right now. Jade is a versatile guard-wing who can score at all three levels, contributes on the offensive glass, and slashes to the hoop for layups off two feet. She stood out at The Compound Summer league, and she would be an exciting addition to The Expo.

Jadelynn played aggressive basketball for Stoney Creek on both sides of the ball at The Compound. She scored off two feet with a soft touch in the paint and changed hands seamlessly to score a crossover dribble drive layup. Jadelynn caught a pass on the perimeter, attacked down the middle of the lane, absorbed contact, and finished the and-one floater off two feet. She sealed a defender on the block and spun to score a layup with finesse, and made a good back-door cut to score another layup. Jade grabbed tough offensive rebounds and dished an assist off the dribble to a teammate cutting to the basket. Her assertiveness, determined drives, and all-around impact were evident.

Freeman’s performance seems to improve every time I watch her play, and this past weekend was no different at The Select Super Showcase. She is a great slasher, and her footwork around the rim is getting better every day. She does a great job on the defensive end, playing the passing lanes and picking up steals.

Freeman will be a very exciting player to watch at the Michigan Hardwood classic. She had a huge freshman season and is one of the most talented 2026’s in the state. Freeman is an athletic wing that is constant points and rebounds double-double threat. She and her Port Huron Northern team have an exciting matchup against an electric Romulus team.

Freeman had a big Freshman season, and I see even bigger things coming in her sophomore season. She led her team in scoring and rebounding last season and will need to repeat those numbers to help get her team in the winning column.
