How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a true point guard and floor general. I focus on controlling the pace of the game, making smart decisions, and putting my teammates in the best position to succeed. I take pride in my defense, court vision, and ability to read the game. I can score when needed, but I’m known for creating opportunities, making plays, and impacting the game in ways that don’t always show up on the stat sheet.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m competitive, focused, and always looking to get better. I hold myself to a high standard and stay coachable no matter the situation. I’m confident in my abilities but still humble and willing to learn. I’m also a great teammate—I support others, communicate on and off the court, and bring positive energy to my team.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I stay actively involved in school and team-related activities, and I focus on maintaining strong character and discipline both on and off the court. In addition to athletics, I’ve been recognized for my work ethic, leadership, and positive attitude in both school and team environments.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Basketball has helped me develop strong leadership and communication skills. As a point guard, I’ve learned how to lead by example, stay composed under pressure, and keep my team organized and motivated. I’ve also built strong teamwork skills by understanding different roles, supporting my teammates, and always putting the team first.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One of my biggest challenges has been proving my impact beyond scoring. As a point guard, my role is to control the game, create plays, and make others better, which doesn’t always get the same recognition. I’ve learned to stay focused, trust my game, and let my performance speak for itself. This has made me mentally stronger and more confident in who I am as a player.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that values development, strong coaching, and a family-oriented culture. I want to be part of a program that pushes me to grow as a player and as a person, while also supporting my academic goals. Finding the right fit where I can contribute, continue to improve, and build lasting relationships is very important to me.
