Against a very good North Hall team who gave every team they played fits at the Wildcat Shootout, Roberts played an excellent game in helping her team almost pull off a massive upset. Roberts has very good size and used her strength to hold off defenders when handling the ball and power through contact around the rim. She did a nice job pushing the ball on the break against the North hall press picking a choosing when to score and when to hit her open teammates. She scored the ball from all three levels while displaying a calm and a lot of confidence leading her team. It was no surprise when I saw that she was the Region Player of the Year this past season and has already scored over 1400 points in her three years of high school. Roberts currently holds two juco offers from East Georgia State and Parkland College. She may have been the biggest secret or surprise of the trip for me and I believe she has the size and skills to be a meaningful contributor in the right college program.

Powerful coast-to-coast downhill attacker. Grabs rebounds and pushes with speed and strength. Barrels her way to the rim playing bully-ball. Needs to develop her left hand. Capable of catching, facing and attacking from the mid-range. Sinks 10-foot jumpers. Physical wrecking ball averaging 21.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 3 steals per game. All-State performer.

Roberts is a playmaker on both ends of the floor. A player not afraid to absorb the contact and score. Her high IQ and ability to see the floor is her biggest attributes. She has led her team with 19.9 ppg and 8.1 rpg this season. Her ability to score and want the ball in her hands has led her team to the Final Four. Look for Roberts to continue to be one of the top 27’s in the state.

When looking at the Georgia Elite Sports Invasion 2027 roster, one can see that players that previously were at Screven County MS make up the lion’s share of said roster. One of those is Roberts who is listed at 5-foot-9 – one of the taller players on her team. Her team went 0-4 back at the Triumph Region Kickoff in April but her play could get Georgia Elite Sports Invasion 2027 to better fortunes this time around at the Upward Star Center. When she is not on the basketball court, she could be partaking in her other athletic disciplines. Roberts also participates in track and softball.

Roberts is a force to reckon with on offense and defense. Strong player that knows how to absorb the contact and get to the rim. A player that plays far beyond her age and has the basketball IQ to read what the defense gives her. Her 22-point performance on the day was the highest point total by any player that I watched on the day. She showed her ability to score at all 3 levels but more importantly she is always communicating and making sure everyone is in the right position.

Roberts is a player that knows how to score at will. There was no answer for her in Game 1. She showed her ability to get to the basket and score through contact. She was able to draw a lot of fouls which led to free throw opportunities which she was automatic. Her ability to communicate to her teammates on the floor is what made her a true floor general. Always talking and bringing the energy on both sides on the ball. Exciting player to watch.

Jaliah is a nice size wing already for her age. She looks to play the game very physical at times on the way to the cup. Roberts showed good body control while finishing through contact at times. Jaliah attends Screven County M.S in Sylvania, GA.
