A dynamic player who is a Swiss Army knife. It’s her time to shine, and this kid is a tough competitor. She has speed. She’s shifty. Knows how to exploit a defense’s weakness and pile it on. She makes the game fun, and watching her is a sight. This kid has adjusted well to the Tennessee game and has done her thing on the circuit. Look for schools to keep calling her to get her commitment. A selfless athletic ballplayer who leaves it all out on the floor.

The Collierville Attacking Scoring Guard is 19th in the rankings. She entered into her junior year with offers from Austin Peay, Chicago State and Mercer. She is a versatile player that accepts and excels at any role asked of her. She is a high motor, physical guard that can get to the basket to score and has deep 3 range. Defensively, she is aggressive and loves to give up her body for charges. Jaliyah was second in scoring with 11.5 points. She also average 4.5 rebounds per game. 

Attacking Scoring Guard. The second leading scorer came off the bench for most of the season. She became a starter when her sister, Fran, was out. In 5 of those games, she averaged 19 points a game. Jaliyah plays with a lot of passion offensively, defensively and emotionally. Her game is getting to the basket. However, she will drain a deep 3 when left open.  Defensively, she is aggressive, doesn’t mind giving up her body and has the athleticism to block shots.  She is averaging 11.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Attacking Scoring Guard. Jaliyah recently dropped her midseason highlight video. The junior is currently averaging 10 points and  4.2 rebounds per game. In the highlight, Jaliyah displays her long distance shooting, charges, assists, transition buckets, left hand finishes, spin move and blocking abilities. 

Attacking Scoring Guard. Jaliyah transferred to Collierville High School from Hernando (Mississippi) this school year. She picked up several offers during the summer. She has offers from Austin Peay, Chicago State and Mercer. She actually took a visit to Mercer this past weekend. She is averaging 10 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.

Attacking Guard. Jaliyah has come off the bench every game I have attended. Possibly tonight she was inserted into the starting lineup with her sister, Fran, being unavailable. She started the game with high energy, aggressiveness and the mindset to score the basket. She hit 2 of her first 3 shots. Something I don’t mention a lot of is how she gives up her body. She probably averages at least 1 charge against her opponent per game. In this game, she created 2 charges.

Attacking Scoring Guard that comes off the bench. However, on any giving night, she can lead the team in scoring. She currently has offers from Austin Peay, Chicago State and Mercer. 

Attacking Guard. Jaliyah doesn’t shoot a ton of threes. She creates for herself to attack the middle of the floor. I didn’t realize the length of her arms until she got a big steal in the 3rd. A player telegraphed her past in the press break and Jaliyah jumped and grabbed the ball out the air. She also grabbed 4 rebounds in this game. 

Scoring Guard. Jaliyah comes off the bench for Collierville. She was instant offense after checking in and led the team in scoring with 18 points. She  creates for herself to take her man off the dribble and get to the basket, especially from the middle of the floor.

Shooting Guard. Collierville has a deep bench. When one of the players coming off the bench is Jaliyah there won’t be much fall off. She is going to bring energy, speed, scoring, and aggressive defense when she is on the floor.
