Byrd adds a perimeter scoring option to this Louisiana Hoopers on Notice spotlight. Her varsity production includes scoring from beyond the arc, giving me a clear area to track as she develops. From my coaching perspective, the next step is greater shooting consistency alongside stronger playmaking reads. Her experience with Liberty and I.D.E. provides opportunities to keep building those skills and establish her role at either guard position. Byrd is a developing backcourt prospect whose progress deserves continued attention.

Byrd impressed with her off-ball movement, consistently cutting to the basket and finishing plays in transition. Defensively, she showed good anticipation by jumping passing lanes and creating turnovers. Offensively, she displayed solid court vision, delivering timely passes that put teammates in position to score.
