#55 – The upside here is tremendous. For an incoming 7th grader, she’s a ball of clay with the potential to be molded into something truly special. Early in the showcase, she had some trouble finishing around the rim, but what stood out was how quickly she adjusted. As the day progressed, she became much more confident attacking the basket, taking the ball directly at defenders and finishing through contact at an impressive rate. That’s a natural part of the development process. It often takes young players time to grow into their bodies and become comfortable with their physical tools, and she appears to be well on her way. If she continues to get quality reps in the gym, embraces coaching, and keeps playing for the right reasons, the sky is the limit for this young prospect. The foundation is there, and her long-term potential is exciting.
