The Warriors of Riverside will have three representatives in the Lowcountry for Elite Camp weekend including Lombana. She will be part of a Riverside assembling set to return to 4A competition following a pair of seasons where the Warriors played up amongst 5A (Division 2) squads. Lombana was one of the leading bucket-getters on what was a young Warriors bunch last season. She was the only sophomore for coach Kevin Wyatt’s Riverside team last season and concluded her 2025-26 campaign having averaged 8.2 points per contest. During the spring and summer, she ran with SC Eagles which played primarily on the Under Armour circuit but also made a few appearances on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit. 

Jasleen is one of the stronger shooters in the region, especially from three-point range, while also being comfortable pulling up from mid-range. She has a lightning-quick release that gives defenders very little time to close out and contest her shot. When opponents run her off the three-point line, Jasleen can put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket.

Known primarily for her shooting first, Jasleen has worked hard to prove she can impact a game in more than one way. She got the scoring started for Riverside tonight with a deep 3, followed by a rebound and coast to coast layup through a retreating defense. Add to her scoring an improved speed, athleticism, and defense and Jasleen is on her way to a strong junior season.

Lombana also plays for an Upstate team that is moving down in classification. She is wrapping up her 2026 travel season with an SC Eagles team that made several stops on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit. The final destination for her and her team this travel season was Spooky Nook in Ohio as SC Eagles plays on the Under Armour circuit. After a couple of seasons playing as a 5A Division 2 team, Riverside is returning to the 4A ranks beginning with the 2026-27 campaign. Lombana would compete in 25 games last season with the Warriors while averaging 8.2 points per matchup. 

In many ways, this year’s Sparkle City Slam is a tune-up for when SC Eagles 17U looks to make its presence known at the final travel event of the season in Cincinnati. Lombana and her SC Eagles team have been a fixture throughout the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit as they have competed at the Southeast Kickoff, Peach Games and the Southeast Region Finals. She plays up in class as a rising junior on a 17U team and is a featured player for a Riverside team making the move from 5A to 4A starting with the 2026-27 season. Lombana averaged 8.2 points per game in 25 games last season with the Warriors. 

Instead of a sophomore slump, Lombana encountered a sophomore jump in 2025-26 with Riverside. She appears poised to take another step forward as she transitions to junior status and as the Warriors return to the 4A classification. Riverside would barely get the better of one of the tougher 3A outs there is in Oceanside Collegiate in large part because of Lombana’s stellar 3-point shooting. Lombana would connect on five of her attempts from distance. Add in ball-handling skills and one can see why Lombana is set to take on a leadership role for her Riverside assembling. 

SC Eagles 17U was one of the many teams that were on hand at this past weekend’s Southeast Region Finals, bringing a close to the initial leg of this year’s Prep Girls Hoops Circuit. Last season’s 5A Division 2 Riverside team graduated three seniors – including its leading scorer. The Warriors are set to move back down to the 4A ranks and Lombana is set to ensure that transition will be a smooth one. She would play in all 25 games last season for Riverside while averaging 8.2 points per contest. Lombana was the only 2028 on last season’s Warriors team. 

Lombana’s many talents were on full display as she and her SC Eagles 17U team called the foothills of the north Georgia mountains home this past weekend. She and her team competed in four games over the weekend. Lombana possesses the 3-point shooting capabilities of a two guard along with the ball-handling skills of someone who plays the point. She understands the right times to score and the right times to pass and can leave many opposing ball-carriers turnover prone with her defense. Lombana played in all 25 games this past season for Riverside which is moving from 5A to 4A next season. She averaged 8.2 points per game in 2025-26. 

As a 2028, Lombana is playing up in class on this year’s SC Eagles 17U team. Things for her team were rough for most of Peach Games weekend, but she and her grassroots group would finish strong by virtue of a 62-57 victory over Fly Girls 17U. Lombana’s quick shiftiness with the ball in her hands can throw many an opposing defender off balance. She can attack the basket but the ability to drain her attempts from distance is also part of her offensive repertoire as is the ability to make efficient passes to put her teammates in position to make plays. Lombana played in 25 games this past season for a 5A Division 2 Riverside team that will move back to 4A beginning with the 2026-27 season. Lombana averaged 8.2 points this past season for the Warriors. 

Lombana is coming off her 2025-26 campaign with 5A Division 2 Riverside and is now wearing the SC Eagles uniform for her grassroots schedule. Her travel team competes on the Under Armour circuit. Lombana competed in 25 games this past season for the Warriors and averaged 8.2 points per game. She was one of the featured players on what was a young Riverside team in 2025-26 meaning one can expect that to continue for the talented Lombana as she transitions to veteran status. Riverside will back down in classification back to the 4A ranks – the very 4A ranks where the Warriors won a state championship in 2023-24.
