Jaslyn has a very nice Euro step around the basket and a deep bag of moves that helps her finish over much taller defenders. She is also a good three-point shooter who can knock down shots even with a defender closing out and contesting.

Jas likes to turn every game into a track meet. She has a relentless motor and whenever the opportunity arises to push the tempo, she’s taking it! She’s not afraid of a little contact and does a nice job staying in control to complete and-1 plays. As the summer went on, she started to incorporate more craftiness on finishes around the basket to really keep the defender on her toes. A mixed bag of offense also sees confident 3-point shooting. Her commitment to defense is especially admirable, doing a great job staying low and being scrappy around the perimeter.

The best way to define Jaslyn Encarnacion’s game is consistent. All weekend long, she was a standout in any game she played in. It didn’t matter if it was 8 a.m. or 2 p.m., she came ready to play. Encarnacion competes with a fiery intensity. She is skilled in every aspect of the game. Her outside shooting range is superb, but she can score at all three levels. Encarnacion can drive past defenders with the dribble and finish, or pull up for a short jumper. She runs the floor well and finishes in transition. She is aggressive on defense and plays with reckless abandon.

Jaslyn Encarnacion was a standout all weekend for Harper U. No matter which scout was watching her, Encarnacion attracted attention. She was named a “Top Performer” on both days, and rightfully so. Enacarnacion is a very good shooter and is especially solid from behind the 3-point line. She is also talented at putting the ball on the floor and getting to the cup. Encarancion is a fierce defender, especially on the ball, constantly putting pressure on opposing ball-handlers. It will be exciting to keep our eyes on her in the future.

Encarnacion made a strong impact with her ability to be the leading scorer in every game played, while also contributing on the defensive end. She knocked down perimeter shots, including multiple three pointers, showing confidence and consistency from deep. Her ability to stretch the floor forced defenders to step out, opening space for teammates to operate. Defensively, she played with intensity, staying active and competing on every possession. Her effort on both ends made her a reliable presence throughout the game. She played with composure and took advantage of scoring opportunities. Encarnacion’s two-way play made her one of the most important contributors for Harper U.
