Jasmine ran the floor hard and earned early trips to the stripe, showing excellent court-vision and to get others involved. She hit dribble pull-up jumper in the second quarter and continued to distribute the ball at a high level throughout the game. She added a clean euro-step finish, came up with a steal, and made smart cuts that led to quality looks at the rim. In the fourth quarter, she powered through contact for a tough bucket, putting an exclamation point on a breakout performance. I like how confident she looked bringing the ball up and how she initiated the offense, and I see tremendous growth in her game and the makings of a strong sophomore season ahead. (Featured Image)
Stats: Career-high 21 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Jasmine was very assertive on offense, knocking down three triples in the 3v3 portion. She showed the ability to create for herself off the dribble and wasn’t afraid to get on the floor for 50/50 balls. She looked much improved since the last time I saw her play and should be a key contributor for John Hardin this season.

Jasmine played at a high level on the PGH circuit this summer. I remember selecting her as a top performer when I covered the 15U division at the Crossroads Clash. She is very effective off the bounce and has no problem finishing through contact. Jasmine also does a good job forcing turnovers on defense with her ball pressure. (Featured Image)

Jasmine anticipates the game so well, she can take over a game. Can hurt you in a variety of ways, solid with the ball in her hands. Electric playmaker and showed again this week how skilled she is. Her best years are ahead of her.

I love the way she reads the action on the court. Solid ball skills, can score from inside or out. Good on-ball defender, separated herself at times on the court. Able to play the point with a north-south game. Love her court vision. Good prospect as she continues to grow her game.

I mentioned in a previous article that John Hardin High School has a lot of talented young players and Jasmine Kennedy is a prime example. She handled the ball very well and did a good job dribbling through the press. She used active hands on defense, scored through contact at the rim, and displayed range from beyond the arc.
