Cabrera’s handle and shooting ability were evident. She has a quick release from the perimeter and was confident operating with the ball at the top of the floor. She was equally comfortable off the ball as well as running the show.

Cabrera is the definition of a versatile powerhouse: she shares the ball, scores the ball, and steals the ball with ease! This standout sophomore is set to build on an already stellar freshman year, where she averaged over 20 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals per game. With stats like these, Cabrera is a proven all-around playmaker. Her scoring threat is especially evident from deep, where she sank 84 three-pointers in just 28 games last season. Whether it’s off the pass, off the dribble, or even with a defender’s hand in her face, Cabrera is locked and loaded from beyond the arc. Her confidence and precision make her a player to watch from anywhere around the key this season.

Cabrera put together a very impressive freshman season, averaging 20.1 points per game on 3.0 threes a night. Cabrera struggled with efficiency throughout the season which can be expected for a freshman. Cabrera was a streaky three-point shooter her freshman year as the nights when she was hitting five or more were often her most efficient, while she had some nights shooting 1-7, 1-8, 3-17, and so on. However, for a sophomore, she already has an incredibly deep bag. On the nights she was on, she demonstrated how diverse of a scorer she was from behind the arc. Entering her sophomore season, we can expect her shooting splits to improve, as she’ll have a better sense of how to find her rhythm with a full season of experience under her belt.

Cabrera filled the stat sheet her freshman year, averaging 20.1 points, 4.4 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and an impressive 4.8 steals per game. Cabrera is a do-it-all type of player. As only a freshman, she recorded games with double-digit assists, rebounds, and even steals. Towards the end of the season, Cabrera started putting together more of these impressive, stat-filled performances. In a 75-57 victory of HCHS, she recorded a triple-double with 32 points, 10 assists, and 12 steals. If Cabrera picks up where she left off last season, we can expect her to have a huge sophomore season.
