She’s great at reading the play, sliding into passing lanes, and even swatting shots from the weak side. Right now, she’s on the volleyball court, but those same ball-tracking instincts translate perfectly to the hardwood and make her a tough matchup.

Length at the wing position is something that at times is just an undeniable trait at the next level because of your ability to play multiple positions and that is something that Carlson brings. Lengthy wing that can play the 2 and handle the ball when she needs to. Carlson has good footwork and foot speed and she could be a riser this summer. Carlson had a good Summer Camp at Western Wyoming and her rise this summer is already on the way.

MV has a good shooter in Carlson. MV will need a heavy dose of her to stay in games and she is capable of going off for 5 a game, especially against a zone. She had a good shooting performance in Week 1.
