Jayda, a guard for Aspire , impressed during Saturday morning play at the PGH MI State Tournament with her quickness, athleticism, and ability to create off the dribble. She consistently put pressure on the defense by getting downhill fast and attacking gaps before defenders could react. Her handle was a major strength throughout the game, as she controlled the ball with confidence and kept defenders off balance. Jayda also showed excellent body control when driving into traffic, finishing plays and maneuvering through defenders effectively. One of her standout moments came on a smooth spin move in the lane that was extremely difficult to defend. On the defensive end, she stayed active with good hands and made plays by disrupting ball handlers and passing lanes.

Jayda had a breakout performance for Aspire at the PGH MI State Tournament last year. She’s shifty and elusive off the bounce. Jayda turns up the pressure to create turnovers on the perimeter, accelerates with a burst to score layups, and I’m excited to see her with Aspire 16U at Northwood during the PGH MI College Tour.
