Gatica gets the cover photo because she is shown she will be hard to cover as her constant moving without the ball has stood out every time I caught her, like this was the 3rd time in a little over a month and her being “heady” as well as playing within herself are huge pluses. Her deceptive first step, as well as her court vision, stood out and her defense was solid

Gatica was one of the youngest attendees at the camp yet she gave me a glimpse of what she could do last weekend at the #ATXSummerHavoc. Her upside is scary, not for me but for defenders because she does things instinctively against older players and her already showing she can “catch and shoot” is huge. She scored off the dribble, saw the floor, and even blocked some shots, as well as rebounded yet her playing the passing lane helped drop the mic
