Jayla showed why she is such a steady presence at the point guard position during the West Michigan Team Camp. The West Ottawa guard consistently played under control, making smart decisions and demonstrating a strong feel for the game. Her basketball IQ was evident throughout the event, as she kept her team organized and made the right reads with the ball in her hands. Offensively, Jayla showcased a smooth stop-and-pop jumper and displayed nice touch on a floater in the lane. Defensively, she competed hard and was active on that end of the floor, making plays with her positioning and effort. Her poise, leadership, and all-around skill set helped her stand out on her home floor.
