Allen was another talented young guard I saw at the June Jamboree. Texas is huge, so I appreciate being brought out see evaluation here, and as I piggyback on what I said in the eval, she’s also a gamer, and her mannerisms, as well as wanting the ball in clutch situations, are among those things you can’t teach

Allen gave me a variety of ways to take the defender off the dribble, and her deceptive first step got her there multiple times to finish. She also attacked strongly, and contact was irrelevant, but her court vision in the set as well as in transition were pluses, as was her dropping the jumper. She also does a good job defending “on the ball” and playing the passing lane
