Few guards are as explosive with the basketball in their hands as Jennifer Xue. Her elite burst allows her to create separation almost instantly, making her a constant threat both in the open floor and attacking a set defense. Once she gets downhill, she displays outstanding body control and creativity around the basket, finishing through contact while comfortably using either hand. Xue is equally dangerous from the perimeter, knocking down shots off the catch or creating her own looks off the dribble. Even without the ball, defenses have to account for her shooting, making her one of the most difficult offensive players to contain.

Xue’s speed and quickness made her one of the most electrifying guards in the conference. A First Team All-League point guard, she blew past defenders with her explosive first step, whether in transition or in the half court. Around the rim, she was a crafty finisher who could extend through contests and finish with either hand through contact. Xue also stretched defenses with her shooting ability—comfortable off the catch or the dribble—and even drew defensive attention when off the ball. Her blend of speed, skill, and versatility made her a nightmare matchup for opponents.
