I first saw and wrote about Jillian just a few days ago, and I was able to see her at a little more length Thursday. She has a wiry-strong, athletic frame, and she moves well in most directions. She plays with a lot of effort, plus she is a versatile prospect. Defensively, she is a solid pursuing rebounder, but she doesn’t mind being physical around the basket either. Offensively, she is best in the mid-post, but her perimeter game has potential as well.

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

Yesterday was my first opportunity to see Jillian in person, and she is intriguing. She is a long, wiry-strong, fluidly athletic forward with a little bounce in her step. She is an active rebounder and defender, and she looks to score the ball consistently in the mid-post, whether by knocking down the 15-footer or driving it from there. She hasn’t had much exposure to the Midwest’s small colleges, so hopefully they are able to see her in Louisville this week.
