Joelys Rodriguez was very impressive on the floor and what really stood out about Rodriguez was her natural basketball abilities and her basketball IQ. Rodriguez showcased good court vision and showed great anticipation. Her ability to adjust on the fly was the most impressive part of her game. She was nice in transition, where she got the rim on one play and threw a dime on another play. More about her passing ability: she reads the floor and throws the pass on time and places it so the receiver can make a play with the ball. The young Sophomore was also good on the defensive end. She pressed up on the ball handler and had quick feet to prevent the offensive player from blowing by. Rodriguez looked polished and will be a fun player to watch this travel season.
