Baker reaped the benefits of her play this summer. Baker built up an excellent resume by playing with high energy and strength. She is a do it all guard that is strong as she can hang with the bigs in the paint but also use her strength to plow through smaller guards out in the perimeter when she attacks the rim. SUU might have picked up a player that could battle for time right off the bat.
Baker will play all 5 positions at her high school this year as you will see her jump center and also run the PG at times. She is hard to stop in the post and if she can get a deep post catch she will rack up easy buckets all year long.

Baker is not a do it all guard that can play all 5 positions. She will jump center and play on the ball a lot. She recently committed to D1 Southern Utah. She will be a solid 3 that will be able to really use her strength and be a stat stuffer. Baker is also a big time soccer player as well.

Baker is not only a player that has the frame to be impactful at the next level she can play a few positions. With her strength she can defend 4’s but she excels at the 3 where she can tap into that slashing and shooting. She can finish with force and she can finish through contact. She has been shooting the ball well from beyond the arc. Look for her to get a lot more attention after this live period heading into the summer.

Baker is starting to show that she can mix it up outside and inside with her strong slashing ability. She is a sleeper player that could be a gem in the class. She has been shooting it well and defending at a high level in Oklahoma.

Baker had a great showing Day 2 with a mixture of shooting and attacking off the bounce through the offense was something that caught our attention. She has really elevated her play in such a short time from her play in high school. Seeing her run the guard position full-time has really been a sight.
