Kaedynn put together a solid all-around performance by impacting the game in a variety of ways. She showed the ability to knock down shots from the perimeter, handled the ball well, and made good reads as a passer when opportunities presented themselves. In transition, Kaedynn did a nice job pushing the pace while also displaying the poise to settle the offense and get her team organized in the half court. She consistently kept plays and possessions alive through her effort and awareness, while also contributing on the glass as a rebounder. When attacking, Kaedynn played with confidence and aggression, getting downhill and going hard to the rim. Her versatility and steady presence were valuable assets throughout the event for her team.

During a weekend when her home state was in Derby mode, Handley was off to the races throughout her multi-day stay in Georgia. The 5-foot-3 standout from Elizabethtown can operate in a team’s lineup as either a point guard or at the two. Handley possesses the 3-point accuracy of a two guard, can create additional offensive possessions with her impressive defense and attacks the rim with lots of fearlessness and ferocity. Handley was one of five freshmen on this past season’s Panthers team. One can say Handley set a “golden tempo” for her team throughout Kentucky Elite 15U’s Peach Games weekend.

Handley was one of the more impressive guards that was on display throughout Saturday’s action at Marietta HS. A standout freshman at Elizabethtown, she displays how effective she can be behind the 3-point line and remains a high degree of activity even when the ball is not in her hands. Handley understands that her playmaking capabilities will translate to attracting plenty of attention from defenses, meaning being an effective passer is every bit as important as being a scorer. She also displays leadership qualities more commonly found in veteran players. Handley will willingly go to her left with the ball in her hands and can wreak havoc on defense by collecting steals and causing deflections.

Handley is definitely a true point guard but also has the intangibles of a scoring guard. A quick release from behind the arch but can also get downhill quickly. Not afraid to apply pressure on defense and offense. A player that gets her team going and can score every time the ball touches her hands. Great court vision.
