About Kaitlyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Kaitlyn is a dynamic point guard known for her speed, court awareness, and leadership. With exceptional quickness, she pushes the tempo and keeps defenders on their heels. She sees the court at a high level, making smart decisions and creating opportunities for her teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Kaitlyn is a smart, disciplined, and driven student-athlete who excels both in the classroom and on the court. As an honor roll student, she shows strong focus, responsibility, and a commitment to excellence in everything she does.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Kaitlyn belongs to Illinois game time AAU, Kaitlyn is also apart of her high school student council. Kaitlyn has received numerous awards during her freshman season at Wheaton Academy.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through basketball, student council, and theater, I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. As a point guard, I lead my team, stay composed under pressure, and make decisions that support others. Basketball has taught me discipline, accountability, and how to encourage my teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I have faced is balancing my academics with basketball and other activities. During basketball season, I often have late practices and games, which makes it difficult to stay on top of my schoolwork. There have been times when I felt overwhelmed trying to manage everything at once, but I learned how to stay organized and use my time wisely.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that challenges me academically and pushes me to grow as a student. I take my education seriously and want to be in an environment where I am motivated to excel and reach my full potential. I value a school that offers strong academic programs, supportive professors, and opportunities to be involved on campus. I would also like a college where I can grow athletically.
